Academy of Learning Company Announces the Amendment of its Fiscal Year and the Transition Plan

Announcement Detail	With reference to the announcement of the Academy of Learning Company on Tadawul website dated 20/12/1445 corresponding to 26/06/2024 regarding the approval of the Extraordinary General Assembly to amend Article (41) of the company’s bylaws to change the end of the company’s fiscal year to the end of June of each calendar year instead of the end of December. Academy of Learning Company announces its intention to implement this transformation as follows: 1- The company will issue “audited” financial statements for the first half-fiscal period (6 months) which begins on January 1, 2024 and ends on June 30, 2024 within the statutory period for publication which ends on September 1, 2024. 2- The company will issue “audited” financial statements for the second fiscal half period (6 months) which begins on July 1, 2024, and ends on December 31, 2024 within the statutory period for publication. 3- The company will issue “audited” financial statements for a long financial year (18 months), which begins on January 1, 2024 and ends on June 30, 2025 within the statutory deadline for publication which ends on September 30, 2025. 4- After that, starting from the second half of the year 2025 (ending on December 31, 2025) which represents the first half of the new fiscal year, the company will issue all its financial statements for the financial periods normally and within the statutory deadlines applicable to companies whose fiscal year end on 30 June. The Academy of Learning Company would like to clarify that the implementation of this transformation will not have any negative effects on the company’s financial and operational performance.
