Khalid-Abdullah Al-HussanChairman of the Board of Directors
Eng. Khalid Abdullah Al-Hussan is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wamid and also serves as a Board member and the Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Tadawul Group, as well as Chairman of the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) and the Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa). Eng. Al-Hussan has more than 14 years of capital markets experience and possesses a wide range of expertise from business development and corporate planning to strategy and operations. Preceding his appointment as CEO of the Group, he was the CEO of The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) - now known as the Saudi Exchange - for more than 4 years. He also held a number of executive roles at the Exchange, in listings, cash markets, asset services and depository, strategy and market data. Throughout his tenure at the Exchange, Eng. Al-Hussan has overseen the introduction and implementation of several key development programs, including the Qualified Foreign Investor (QFI) framework and the Independent Custody Model (ICM) and, most recently, its transformation into Saudi Tadawul Group. He also helped secure the Exchange’s inclusion in main emerging markets’ indices. Notably, he sponsored the restructuring program of the Financial Infrastructure companies and oversaw the record-setting IPO of Saudi Aramco. Prior to joining the Exchange, Eng. Al-Hussan worked in the Saudi insurance sector, managing areas of business and product development, marketing, PMO and strategy. Khalid Al-Hussan is an engineer and holds an MBA from the University of Colorado, where he is also a certified entrepreneur.

Mark-MakepeaceVice Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mr. Mark Makepeace is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Wamid. He is also CEO of Wilshire Company and a board member of the Singapore Stock Exchange, as well as an advisor to Hang Seng Bank in Hong Kong. Mr. Makepeace previously served as Non-Executive Chairman of Information Services at the London Stock Exchanges Group (LSEG) and UNICEF Vice President in the UK since 2011. He started his career in financial services in 1985, joining the London Stock Exchange and working to develop the stock market’s business in the field of information technology and services. He also led the securities organization in the United Kingdom and participated in establishing the first international stock market across borders in Europe. He was the founder, CEO and Chairman of Information Services of FTSE. He has more than 20 years of experience developing successful joint ventures, and has succeeded in establishing alliances with stock exchanges, academics and leading industrial groups all over the world. He has founded large companies in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, and was the first Chairman and Founding Member of the Index Industry Association..

Xavier RoletMember of the Board of Directors
Mr. Xavier Rolet is a member of the Board of Directors of Wamid and Saudi Tadawul Group. He is currently Chairman and CEO of NYSE-listed World Quantum Growth Acquisition Corporation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phosagro PJSC, Chairman of the Board of Shore Capital Markets, Chairman of the Remuneration Committe and Board Member of Seplat Energy, Board Member of Golden Falcon Acquisition Corporation and Tadawul Advanced Solutions Company (WAMID) and Senior Advisor to Towerbrook Capital Partners LLP. He is also an External Director for Portfolio Companies at the Public Investment Fund (PIF). He was previously the CEO of CQS (UK) LLP and the CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) from 2009 until 2017, during which time its market capitalization increased from $1.2 Bln to $21 Bln. Prior to that, he worked for Lehman Brothers in New York as co-head of global equities and derivatives trading, head of European and Asian Equities in London and CEO of Banque Lehman Brothers in Paris. Prior to that, he was global head of European Equities at Credit Suisse First Boston and a Vice President and Executive Director at Goldman Sachs & Co in New York and London. After graduating from the Kedge Business School with an MSc in Management studies in 1981, Mr. Rolet served as a Second Lieutenant and Instructor at the French Air Force Academy. He received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Columbia Business School in 1984 and a post-graduate degree from the Paris-based Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defence (IHEDN) in 2008. Mr. Rolet is a Knight Commander of the British Empire (Hon), a Knight of the Order of the French Legion of Honor, an Officer of the Royal Sharifian Order of Al-Alawi, and a recipient of the Order of Friendship of the Russian Federation. He featured in the 2017 Harvard Business Review list of the Best 100 CEOs in the world.

Roland BellegardeMember of the Board of Directors
Dr. Bellegarde is a member of the Wamid Board of Directors as well as Senior Advisor to the CEO of Saudi Tadawul Group, He is also a board member of the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa), Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa) and the Saudi Exchange Company. He was a member of the NYSE-Euronext Management Committee from 2007 to 2014 as Group Executive Vice-President in charge of European Equities and Listings. His mandate extended to cover domestic and international Listings, Equity and Index derivatives, Index business development and structured products as well as market operations. He was previously Chairman of the trading platform SmartPool, and a member of the Board of Directors at LIFFE AM, Qatar Exchange, Clearnet SA and Interbosla (Portuguese CSD). Dr. Bellegarde has a PhD in Banking and Finance from Université Paris-Sorbonne in France.

Wael Abdullah Al-HazzaniMember of the Board of Directors
Mr. Al-Hazzani is a member of the Board of Directors at Wamid as well as the Chief Executive Office of the Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa). He is also a board member of the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) and the Saudi Exchange Company. He has deep experience in the capital market, risk management and clearing and settlement industries. Mr. Al-Hazzani has occupied many leading positions within Tadawul Saudi Group, including heading the clearing and settlement function and the Post Trade Transformation Program. Mr. Al-Hazzani holds an MBA-Minor in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in computer science from King Saud University in Saudi Arabia.

Mohammed T. Al NoryChief Executive Officer
Mohammed has more than 17 years of experience in investment and commercial banking, having held responsibilities including business development for the corporate sector, distinguished service management for the retail sector, and wealth and securities management in investment banking.
Mohammed holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) and professional certificates accreditation.

Issa Nasser Al IssaChief Of Business Development
Issa has more than 16 years of technology and capital markets experience and possesses a wide range of expertise from business development and monetization to strategy and operations.
He has held several executive roles at the Saudi Stock Exchange, in digital transformation, data services, innovation and other IT solutions, most recently as Senior Head of IT Solutions.
In addition to various recognized professional certifications, Issa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Information Systems) from King Saud University and an MBA from Al Faisal University.
